My plan for this sock pattern was to try to create a sock with just a little bit of pattern on it. The pattern is only on the front panel and is an easy 4 row repeat and just enough interest to make it the next sock after a plain one. This pattern shows really well on a one color or tonal yarn. The ridges of the stockinette and purl pattern in the center of the sock gives it a little more stretch length wise and the twisted stitches on each side gives it stretch from side to side.
